The food here is below par for the area, unfortunately. Fried foods come out soggy or undercooked. The best thing I go for is the all you can eat boiled shrimp nights. Theirs are the best around. Service is very good all it the times I have been. Servers are attentive and helpful, so management must be doing something right!

Me and my husband had dinner here. He had the Ribeye streak topped with grilled onions. It had a pretty good flavor but was over cooked. We asked for medium well and it was well done. I had the rack of ribs. They had a great flavor but seemed under cooked. I like my ribs to fall off the bone and these did not. It was a nice atmosphere with a huge TV to watch the football game and the service was excellent. For the price it was ok. I think If I ever go back I'll try the club sandwich. I saw two different tables had ordered that.

Great place to get take out . We do this frequently. The food is really really good. And they're sooo quick to get it ready for you. The fried pickles are some of the best I've had. The club sandwich is UH-mazing! I love their fries, they're exactly like J. Alexander's fries. The only thing I've had here that wasn't super delish was the chicken Caesar wrap. It was just ok.

Was here with my brother (in from NC), two of my sisters and my wife. My wife and I shared a muffalotta, one sis had a Peanut Butter and Bacon Burger, The other had the Hawaiian Burger and my brother had a half n half poboy (shrimp and oysters). Everything was awesome. And yes, even tho my sis did not believe me that it was good, she enjoyed her Peanut Butter Bacon Burger.

Went there with my brother who recommended and paid as well. He had the bacon burger and I had the Hawaiian burger. Sweet potatoes fries where great. The burger was good size with lots of pineapple and teriyaki. Don't miss the boudin balls appetizer. Service was good and friendly. The bar area was cluttered with what I don't know cabinets, refrigerator. Servers can't reach the bar. Definitely will go back.

Had dinner last night at Big Mikes. I was NOT impressed. The Long Island tea tasted watered down more like a barely sweet tea with no alcohol. Took entirely too long to get cutlery much less a napkin so I could eat my meal. The grilled Caesar wrap was more of a salad wrap. Had maybe four or five small shrimp total in the entire wrap. There is hardly any parking area. Service was blah.

I love their food. Great great hamburgers and apps. Always busy there. Have a huge bar area that never seems properly utilized though and it's built so that the bartenders struggle to give you your drink. Other then that, I've never been disappointed by their food ever!

Best burgers! What they are known for in denham. Can be really busy on the weekends, great place to watch sports, the have a projector type screen that's a whole wall. The only complaint I've ever had is they have no sauces for their fried apps, have to ask for ranch or remoulade with the fried pickles or onion rings. Very casual atmosphere

Big Mike's is a great family restaurant and great food. Never been disappointed. Boudin Balls are an amazing appetizer. Burgers and sandwiches are great always tender and juicy. Great place to eat. Thanks Big Mike.

We're new to town & trying places. We were in the mood for burgers, saw that Big Mike's had some interesting choices, and ordered take-out. My husband had the bacon peanut butter burger (YES, peanut butter!), and I had the Hawaiian. Both were great burgers...good sized with ample toppings and with a nice, sweet bun. The fries were coldish by the time they got home, but they're very thin, so the travel time spent inside styrofoam could be to blame. Red beans & rice were good. The shrimp & corn soup was a little heavy on the cream and thinner than I like, but still pretty good. We wanted to try the fried ribs appetizer, but they were out. We'll be back to taste them, too.

Not too shabby, Denham Springs! After being disappointed by my last meal at Longhorn's (and the way big bill), I was happy to try some place new. A group of us, kids in tow, came out to Big Mike's. Good decision. I had a steak there that kicked the rump of the one i had at Longhorn's (good seasoning, perfect cooking), awesome side salad (everything all diced up nicely) and good service. Easy location, easy to accommodate. Someone didn't like their shrimp and the waiter switched it out no problem and she liked that. This'll be an easy meeting place in the future!

What a great place! I grew up in DS but moved to Texas. Anytime I come into town I try to visit Mike's. The bar area is a great place to have a small gathering and catch up with old friends. The restaurant size is just right and the food is absolutely fabulous. My mouth waters when I get the specials of the day on Facebook!

We went Sunday afternoon, I got the "Big Mike's Burger".... dressed with three cheeses, bacon, mayo, lettuce tomato and red onions. DELICIOUS !! The french fries are the "skinny" cut and are addicting ! We went at a weird time (4:30 pm) and we didn't have an extremely attentive waitress... however, the food was awesome and they have Tin Roof and Blue Moon on tap !
